INSPECTIONS
Inspections
The high volume of use of elements and the weather conditions in a ropes course take their toll on the general state and life expectancy of the materials. Not inspecting the state of these materials could lead to serious accidents and injuries. Your requirements as owner with regards to checks and inspections include the following:
- Inaugural inspection: This needs to be done prior to the first use of your adventure park and by an independent inspector or inspection body
- Periodical inspection: This needs to be done by a certified type C inspector.
- Routine inspection: This inspection is done daily, prior to the park opening and can be done by an instructor of the park.
- Operational inspection: This inspection must be done every 1 -3 months or as stated in the user manual provided by the manufacturer. It must be done by an adequately trained staff member or an independent specialist company such as Ropes Course Solutions.
Ropes Course Solutions is an ERCA and IAPA certified inspection body.
